Windows 8.1 Driver Not Found

Post by ArcadeMobb » Sat Oct 12, 2019 12:36 pm

Running Plunger on Windows 8.1, Drivers are not found.
The keyboard encoder is working, functions like plunger, tilt, nudge is not recognized.

Found some posts with users saying to change USB ports or BIOS level USB changes, attempted but still no driver.

Any ideas or help?

Thank You, The driver is now installed.

Still the same issue, The keyboard encoder is working.
What is not working, plunger, tilt and nudge functions, tested via windows devices and 360Joy app.

I changed BIOS from Legacy USB back and forth, no change.

What else am I missing?

What version of plunger is it?

The only hardware issue that comes to mind offhand is that the analog axis (x, y, z) all use 3.3v from the onboard regulator circuit. If that goes away, then those axis won't respond.

To check for 3.3v test pin 1 on the circuit board at the backside of the potentiometer (shows +3.3v on the board) with the red lead of a multimeter while the black lead is connected to pin 3 (ground) up bu the ZB logo etched into the board.

If you have 3.3v then it's likely not hardware related.
